Kandie (#3601) arrived from S. Korea where she had been tied up in a junkyard and had multiple litters of puppies. Kandie is housetrained.  She was treated for heartworm in S. Korea and is now heartworm negative.  Kandie’s wellness exam looked good, despite her having been chained up for so long.

Kandie has settled in at her foster home and is getting lots of rest and attention. She is starting to reveal her sassy side as she walks by her foster mom carrying a shoe or towel then wiggles out of sight. Her foster mom reports that she seemed sad for the first few days, but her personality has now come out and it’s all good.

All descriptions above are what we know about this dog when it was first released to GBR. Dogs are typically in foster care for three to four weeks. During that time, we will discover its true personality as witnessed by its particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustom to its new foster home.
