On a sad note, we lost our sweet Jameson, a Golden we adopted in September 2016. We were lucky to have him in our lives for nearly a year. He died on August 20, 2017 in our loving arms.
Our family loved Jameson and we did whatever we could to make sure he knew he was loved. Although, we never fully understood what Jameson’s life was like prior to us adopting him, we do know that his poor body was in bad shape.
Jameson was a sweet and loving old guy and we will forever miss him! We spoiled him rotten with lots of love and affection, trips to the Oregon Coast, and daily walks to the apple tree for his “apple a day to keep the vet away”! We miss him terribly.
Jameson’s Success Story
Our sweet Jameson joined our family on September 4th of this year and every day brings new and exciting adventures for this sweet, gentle 12-year-old boy. We do not know exactly what Jameson’s life was before we got him, but we do know that he is loving his morning and afternoon walks, his comfy, cozy dog bed and most of all, the love and attention that he gets on a regular basis from our whole family.
Jameson has taken a liking to the apples in the orchard and every day, he makes a mad dash out to get his apple for the day. Jameson has met many of the farm animals around the neighborhood, but we think he especially likes the new calves behind our house. We absolutely love our precious Jameson and are thankful to Golden Bond Rescue for helping bring this sweet boy into our lives!
Jameson was adopted on September 4, 2016.
Jameson’s Available Story:
Golden Bond Rescue would like to introduce you to Jameson (#2713), a 12-year old sweetheart of a Golden. His previous owners adopted him from his birth mother when he was a puppy and, because of having to move to an apartment, they are unable to keep him. Needless to say, they are heartbroken.
Jameson is a sweet, mellow, low-energy senior male who is a little on the tubby side. He walks well on a leash and can go for short walks, but he needs help with stairs and getting into a car. He loves all people, gets along well with other dogs and has lived with a cat and even snuggled with it.
