My name is Goldie (#2882). I came here from South Korea where I was left in a shelter until a nice person rescued me. I get along and play well with other dogs. I tend to be more of the alpha-type so generally I prefer more passive, less alpha dogs. I have puppy playfulness and love to play and wrestle, though sometime I only want to snooze on the floor next to my person. I haven’t been around kids yet but I have a friendly demeanor so I think I would do very well. I currently reside with two cats and enjoy living with them and would do well in a household that also has cats.
I love to snuggle!! I enjoy resting my head in my person’s lap and just being close to them. I am a quick learner; I learned basic commands within a week. I do well in a crate at night or while my family is gone, although I’d much rather snuggle with someone in bed if that’s an option!
I love to go on walks and am learning how to heel properly. With some practice, I know I’ll do really well. I enjoy running around in the backyard and playing with balls. The best kind of family for me is a family who enjoys spending time with me, is willing to work with me on basic training, give me tons of snuggles, and the much needed attention and love that I crave – and that my foster mom says I deserve.
