Next best thing to meeting Pepper in person is watching her on a video: PEPPER VIDEO
Hi! I’m Pepper (#3400), although the shelter I was at in Wyoming called me Girly. My foster family thinks I’m mostly pointer, with a little bit of bully breed thrown in. I’m built tall and lean like a pointer, and I’m very good at pointing!
My foster family thinks I am the best dog they have ever had in the house. I’m perfectly housebroken. I don’t steal food or chew on anything but my own toys. I’ll happily let you take my food or toys. I’m quiet and calm and I love to snuggle – I’ll roll over for belly rubs and I can fit in your lap – really! I love, love, love squeaky toys and chew bones. I might hide my bones under the cushions!
I walk nicely on a front-clip harness.
I get very excited when I see other dogs, but I have been nice to the dogs I’ve met. We’d need to do a pet meet though, before I moved in with your dog. And I’d probably do best with dogs who are at least as big as I am.
I can’t go to a home with cats or other small pets. I do get very excited when I see animals, so I really need to be on a leash if there may be other critters about. I think birds are for chasing – I’m sure it’s the pointer in me!
I am really a super-sweet girl! I want to wiggle my way into your family.
