Hello.  My name is Fiona (#3584) but sometimes my foster mom calls me Fifi.  I am about one-year old and weigh approximately 31 pounds.  I arrived in the U.S. from So. Korea on November 3.  My foster mom says I am “adorable.” I am extremely affectionate but am also very shy and cautious when meeting new people.  I definitely need a gentle introduction and patience as I am still learning to trust.

I have been playing and going on walks with my foster sister.  I am very good on a leash and super comfortable around other dogs.  I have not been introduced to any cats yet.  I am a pleaser and respond to verbal commands very well – I just want to learn how to be an awesome pet.  I currently know how to sit and come; I am learning to shake and stay as well.  I love my food and, of course, treats.

As a young dog, I do want to chew things I should not but I can be redirected easily when reminded with a proper chew toy.  My crate is my safe space and I sleep there at night.  I am a great companion during the day, laying down near my foster family members while they work.

My foster mom says I have the softest fur she has ever pet.  Belly rubs?  I’m all about that!

My sincerest hope is that when you look into my eyes, you see love and your best friend because that’s what I will be trying to convey.
