Things are going very well with Evie. She has really settled in, has graduated from basic obedience class, and gets along well with our other golden, Gibson, and our very old cat Charlie.
She is very sweet, loves her walks and trips to dog parks and especially anytime she can play with other dogs. We have told many people about Evie’s story and the great work Golden Bond does to bring these goldens over from China.

Hi, I’m Evie (#2750)! I am 3 years old and recently traveled all the way to Oregon from China! My life before was pretty scary, and I am really happy to be here now. I’ve been in my foster home for over a
month and am now ready to find my forever family!
A little bit a
bout me: I am an all around friendly girl. I get along great with the other dogs in my foster home, even the little Chihuahua, who likes to think he’s the boss. My foster home even has cats and bunnies too, and yep, I love them too! As for people, I haven’t met one yet that I didn’t like! I will follow you around the house and prefer to stay close. It’s okay if you have to leave me alone sometimes, but I do like it if you leave me a toy to play with.
I like to ride in the car and go on walks too. I’ve learned that I am not supposed to pull on my leash and my foster mom says I’m doing a very good job. When I first got here from China, I did not know that I needed to potty outside, but I have learned now. On occasion I may have accidents, so please be patient with me while I am settling into my new house.
My foster mom says that I am “easy to love” and could fit in with pretty much any family. I hope to meet you soon!
