Evan #3347 (now Cooper) came to the US in September, 2020 by way of So Korea. We believe he is 3 years old. The only history available to us is that he was found in a shelter and the So Korean shelters have a terrible reputation. We drove to Burlington, WA (6-1/2 hour drive) the end of October and the rest as they say is history as we brought him home the next day. Cooper is a dream in the car, but when he knows he’s going for a car ride his excitement level is off the charts. We aren’t taking any trips right now due to COVID restrictions, but Cooper tags along when running errands and loves all the treats he gets along the way. We live in rural Oregon on five acres and Cooper loves to run to his heart’s content. Of course, he has to put on the brakes several times as there are so many smells to check out. He hasn’t shown any real interest in toys, but we think that will change in time as we do play with him.

His favorite TV show is Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet and as you can see in the photo to the right, he watches it very intently. Cooper is a very loving boy and wants to stay close to Mom and Dad and is content to be in the house with us unless we’re outside working. Yep! Cooper is a bit of a Velcro dog! He has filled a huge void in our lives after losing our previous Golden to canine dementia and we are so blessed to have him as a part of our family.
