Bear (was Eddie) #1846

We just wanted to write you to let you know the beautiful Golden we got from you back in March of 2009 passed away unexpectedly this past Sunday. His name was Bear, though when we got him from you, he was called Eddie. Bear has been the joy of our life! We have had several dogs over the years but Bear was without doubt the most gentle, loving soul we have ever had. To say we are devastated and sad is an understatement but we know he had a wonderful life and the love between us was one for the ages.

Thank you for what you do and for giving us this wonderful dog that gave us such joy and unconditional love. We will miss him dearly but know that he had a wonderful home, two people that loved him and that he is now running over that rainbow looking down on us with a big smile. Keep up the great work and thanks again for giving us such a wonderful dog that we will never forget-

Your Golden Bond Rescue organization is why we were able to have such a wonderful golden boy who we will never forget. Bear was one of a kind and I can tell you he was loved every day and gave us that same love right back.

We are still very sad at our loss but thanks again for giving us a wonderful 8 plus years of the Bear boy we’ll cherish forever!

Bear was adopted March 16, 2009

To the dear Golden Bond staff

1846_eddie_1Steve and I are pleased and proud to welcome our new family member…he is a very handsome young boy and eager to please.

We fell in love with him at first sight & decided that Eddie #1846 would now be known as ‘Bear’ because he is as huggable as a teddy bear. His new housemate Zoey is having a

great time teaching her new ‘little brother’ the ropes. They are enjoying taking walks together everyday- Bear is a pro on leash. He has adjusted to his new surroundings and we look forward to many enjoyable years to come.

Our sincere thank you to The Golden Bond Rescue team for their guidance and giving us the opportunity to adopt a sweet golden retriever as part of our family
