DougMorgen and Doug

Doug came to me as a foster dog in early August 2015. The fostering period lasted about a week—no, this is going to  be MY dog— and I adopted him, making it the third time I failed Fostering 101.

He didn’t show much interest in chasing a ball in the backyard and was a rather dignified fellow, appropriate to his ten years. But on a weekend trip to the coast, he morphed into a  tireless ball chasing, sand digging, water splashing enthusiast. He would carry the ball into the edge of the surf and bounce it repeatedly like a basketball player. It was so much fun to see him playing like a puppy.

Here he is with his new Golden Bond buddy, Morgen!
