Buddy #3133

Hi, I’m Buddy (#3133), and I want to be your best, best buddy!

I am a very good dog. I know commands like sit, stay, come and down. I only get on the furniture when asked, and I sit politely for petting. I walk nicely on a leash and am quiet and calm in the house. I don’t chew things that aren’t mine and I don’t beg for food. I behave nicely for the vet and groomer. I love riding in the car.

I like kids but really little ones can make me a little nervous. I’d do fine with older kids. I’m fine with cats although I might chase them if they run. I am picky about my dog friends. I’m OK with submissive dogs and like to play, but I won’t back down if a dominant dog tries to start something with me. I really don’t like horses and need to go to a home with no horses around.

I love my people very much. So much that I want them home all the time. I get very scared and anxious when I am left alone. I need a family that will accept my fears and help me work through them, and who won’t get mad or upset if I do something destructive when I am scared. 

So if you want someone to be your best buddy, and you work from home, have a stay-at-home family member or are retired, pick me!
