Meet the ‘breaking hearts everywhere’ Pooka (#3727) from South Korea. Pooka flew to the U.S. on Monday, July 18. He is approximately 2-years old and weighs 50 pounds. He was treated for an ear infection at his first vet visit but otherwise looks great.
Pooka’s foster says he is perfect. She said it’s like she’s just dogsitting a friend’s dog. He has fallen right into her routine and is doing just fine. He’s getting along great with the resident dogs, has no resource guarding whatsoever (hence getting all the toys), shares well, plays well, sleeps well and LOVES balls. He loves to play fetch like a typical Lab, though he clearly has some mix in him.
All descriptions above are what we know about this dog when it was first released to GBR. Dogs are typically in foster care for three to four weeks. During that time, we will discover its true personality as witnessed by its particular foster family. The dog’s personality traits may change as it becomes accustom to its new foster home.
