We are now closing in on 4 months since we added Aspen to our family. As you can see she is not a Golden Retriever, she is a Blond Labrador Retriever. Her last human companion passed so she needed a new home. She is 5 years old and when we got her she was a little overweight. She has a much bigger yard to play in and a golf course to run on so she is losing weight-  we even increased her daily food…she really likes that.

We already had a Labrador Retriever that we got as a puppy, her name is Black Beauty, we call her BB, she will be 3 in April 2018. They are getting along well, BB is a very active girl…still puppy like, and Aspen is a mellow lady who loves affection and being part of the pack. She was the perfect choice to add to our family.

Golden Bond Rescue would like to introduce you to 5-year-old Aspen (#2869), a purebred yellow lab.  Aspen was brought in with her sister, Bella, a 9-year old Black Labrador Retriever, after their owner died.

Aspen LOVES other dogs and if you have a ball to throw she is your best friend.

Aspen will need a good brushup basic training class and a good walking harness until her leash skills improve. She is still losing some weight which is tough for a girl like her because she LOVES to eat!

Aspen also loves people and wants to be by your side at all times.  Looking for a Velcro dog? Could Aspen’s next home be with you?

Aspen was adopted on August 5, 2017
