Thomas turned 14 in December of 1999. He lived with Cheryl as our permanent foster boy until he died in early February 2000.

For most of his life, he was tied to a tree and only allowed in the house for brief periods. Once he came into rescue and went to live with Cheryl,he spent most of his day reclining on the couch or sleeping in the bedroom. He loved to ride in the car and had a cozy spot on the backseat. He often went to work with Cheryl and either slept or watched out the window from his perch - another of his favorite pastimes.

Thomas was quite stubborn at times , but Cheryl figured he was entitled! He was a real delight and blossomed in foster care. We feel lucky that we were able to provide Thomas with some of the good life he deserved. He will be missed.
