Success Story: Daisy (#995)

Adopted April 2004

DaisyDaisy (#995)

Daisy, Daisy... give us your answer, do! We're half crazy over a dog like you! Our sweet Daisy gave a definite paws-up when she met Jeanne and Will and their six year old daughter who is looking forward to having Daisy for a best friend.

Daisy is happily sharing lots of love and doggy kisses with her new family and even the cat who is seventeen years old. Her new family missed their wonderful pet that had crossed the Rainbow Bridge and felt it was time to find a dog to share their love and their home. After meeting Daisy, it was love at first sight.

Daisy told us that Jeanne is going to let her "help" with the pet sitting service and she will be the official greeter to all visiting dogs. She'll have lots of opportunities to learn new things and to just enjoy her forever home and family.

Update: October 4, 2004

Daisy is doing fine. She still has her moments where she seems worried and a bit scared... it seems sad to me that she stays away sometimes. I guess from what I heard, she was alone a lot as a puppy, which would explain so much. We all love her dearly and hope that in time, she will realize that we never want her to worry and we want her with us always. It is a bit strange that during the day, she hangs out upstairs and doesn't come down when I come home from an errand. I take her with me quite a bit when it isn't warm outside and she gets plenty of exercise. She will actually run back into our bedroom sometimes if we want to take her out for a walk. I think she thinks something else will happen. Everything will just take time.

Her health is fine — no UTI's for awhile now!

Thanks for all the work you do with Golden Bond!

Sincerely,
Jeanne

P.S. She is so sweet to our 17, almost 18 year old cat. They share the dog bed sometimes!
