Instead of spending my elder years sleeping in the sunshine and dreaming of old times, I'm enjoying my new forever home with Sue and her family, and living right in the moment. My new little doggy sister, Zeta is just as charming as can be and has made me feel so welcome. She has lots of energy and we share some good playtimes together.
Zeta and I have long walks in our neighborhood every day. Weekends you'll find us at Minto Brown Park in Salem, a most excellent place for happy dogs and special people to meet for fun and happy times.
Many golden days are ahead for me and my forever family.
Update: May 13, 2004
We are all saddened to announce that Winnie went to the Rainbow Bridge shortly after her adoption by Sue. Everyone at Golden Bond is grateful for and thanks Sue for giving Winne the last moments of her life in a secure and loving home. Even though her time was short, her heart must have been full of gladness that she had found a family for her to love and to love her.
