Memorial: Babs (#383)

Babs Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 6, 2004

I am sad to report that our dear sweet Babs (#383) went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday evening. She brought joy into our home and we will miss her deeply. She loved sitting under the swamp cooler in the summer, eating apples, and my two sons most of all. If anyone would ask her to do something she would look to one of the boys to make sure it was OK if someone else told her what to do. She was a gentle kind old soul who tolerated the kitty "playing" with her by taking swats at her and never retaliated or moved away. She liked going to Grandma's and supervising the boy's while they worked in the yard until she was worn out from following them around and then she would find a shady spot and sleep. Word's can't express the loss we feel — saying goodbye to a furkid... there are no words adequate enough.
