Success story: Rosie (#375)

Just an update on our Rosie. She is doing great! Her and little brother, Jasper are now certified bro and sissy. They play so cute. You know, like those action movies where two people are fighting/wrestling but neither is really hitting or hurting the other. They take turns being the Alpha/winner. Grandma Sarah was not sure at first what they were doing... she thought they were trying to mate. I had to explain to her that is how they play. They are two bundles of joy and full of love. The grandchildren, Gabe and Vivi are so hooked on their Golden's. They tell everyone about how wonderful they are and that they are their favorite humans. They are so cute. I'm getting a little jealous these days. They refuse to sleep at my bedside now. They follow Grandma everywhere. When I come home from work they love to play, but when it comes time to go to sleep, straight to Grandmas room they go. I still feel loved though, because they wander into my room to check on me from time to time during the night. We are going to put our Christmas tree up this weekend. Even though Lil guy, Jasper is 16 months now, he still chews the heck out of whatever. We will have to watch him like a hawk and surround the tree with some sort of barrier. Can you believe that? I have tried to convince the family that it is not my precious little Jasper that chews everything up, but rather some neighborhood dog that sneaks in when we are not looking. That excuse does not work anymore. Told him I can't cover for him any longer, everyone is hip to him. He looks so Innocent. Rosie just sits there and watches him as if to say, " you silly youngster!". Rosie's skin flares up from time to time but continues to improve. She may have to have surgery on her eyes in the future. Can't remember what the condition is called, but it causes the lower lids to rotate in. Her vet is so wonderful. Well, hope the adoptions are going well. Happy holidays to all and God bless.

P.S.: Rosie will be 6 yrs old the 18th of Dec. We will celebrate!
