I adopted Ebb (#367) when he was 11 years old. At first I was not interested in a senior, because I had just lost my twelve year golden, my first golden. Ebb was playful and full of energy. Then tragedy hit. Ebb had a stroke. It was hit or miss for two days, but the tough guy made it through. He had trouble walking, weak back legs that gave out on him, diminished hearing and sight.Ebb had a long time tumor on his rump, but it didn't slow him down. Then it started bleeding. The vets has no choice, but surgery. After testing, his kidneys were shutting down I made the decision to put him to sleep. He crossed the rainbow bridge on July 14 at 13 years young.
