Success Story: Sarah (#1629)

Sarah, 1-1/2 years old, Blonde Golden Retriever, fit into our family the very first day we brought her home just as our dog Spencer, 2-1/2 years old, Golden Retriever/Black Lab/Chow Mix, had done 5 weeks prior. Sarah & Spencer are inseparable! They do everything together. They don't let each other out of sight. Sarah has fit in so well with our family it's as though she has been here for a long time.  Sarah feels very comfortable here as we do having her here.  We are thrilled with how well the process went and we are so thankful to Golden Bond and her foster parents for caring for this beautiful girl!  She is exactly what Spencer needed and Spencer is exactly what she needed and both dogs are exactly what my husband and I needed.  We lost our dog Rusty of 13 years in September.  Sarah and Spencer have brought great joy back into our lives and we plan on returning the joy to each of them. Sarah and Spencer love to go on two walks a day and they are very good at meal time.  It is an even contest to see who finishes eating first so there is no problem at meal time. They are great at sharing their toys and bones. The "Blonde Comet" (kindly referred name from foster parents) adds so much energy to our home.  She will bite Spencer's ear or leg or neck until he has to play even when he's had enough. Sarah may look petite but there is a side to her you just can't imagine. Let's just say that she can hold her own when it comes to playing with our big strong boy, Spencer.  Who would look at this girl and think that she could bring it on and hold her own?  There is a sweet side to Miss Sarah that you can't ignore and she has such a gentle soul that you can't help but fall in Love with her immediately!  Sarah is sure to be loved and spoiled for all the rest of the days of her life and she has already filled our hearts with joy.   Thank you Golden Bond for this wonderful match!  It is our privilege to share our story and to share Sarah with everyone!
