Success Story: Lois Lane (#1545), now Lucy

Adopted April 2007

I'm Lucy, my name used to be Lois Lane but mom thought I was such a red headed comic she started calling me Lucy. I was her first foster dog and when she told me there was a forever home out there I knew I had already found it. This place has fields to run in, another Golden for company, and best of all a big pond with huge fish in the front yard. I sit quietly and watch for them come close to the edge. When they do I spring into the pond on top of them.  Haven't caught any yet but when I do what a feast.

My mom says I am the perfect dog. I admit I am pretty smart and have learned all the commands she's taught me. I heel on and off the leash, come, stay, long down, fetch and drop. I've finally agreed to stay off the bed and the couch. Love, love, love those car rides.

Meeting new people is great but I'm not to sure about other dogs yet. This fall mom says we are going to start something called agility training. My mom says thanks Golden bond for bringing me into the family.
