Success Story: Clark Kent (#1544), now Duke

Adopted April 18th, 2007

Duke is a welcome addition to our family and has immediately bonded to us.. He seemed to be having a hard time responding to the name "Clark" and by a quirk, we said "Duke" he responded by jumping up and coming to us immediately. Maybe in his previous life that sound was familiar to him.

At this time Duke's favorite activity is running through the fields. We believe he must not have had a lot of room in his previous home (prior to Golden Bond Rescue) for running , so being on the farm is a lot of fun for him. Duke also loves to go for rides. If we leave the door open on any of our vehicles, you can bet Duke will be inside waiting to go wherever. Duke will even climb up into the cab of our tractor and loves to ride along while were doing field work. He enjoys being in the house and spends time in my office sleeping on his blanket.

We want to thank Golden Bond Rescue for helping us find Duke and bring him into our family. He is a true treasure and we love him. Also special thanks to Kathy for her help transferring Duke from her home to ours.
