Kiah (#1465) joins our family of eleven others, not all Goldens. She comes from a family that loved her well so she is more than happy to let me love on her all the time, she goes everywhere with me, and is my constant companion. Kyah has such a sweet, sweet personality that she just steals your heart and she has certainly done that with me.
Kyah and I went through some exploratory surgery at the Veterinarian School at Oregon State when she first came to us, and we have learned much about her bone degeneration condition since then. So though she has some tough time ahead of her as her bones get harder for her to walk, I have been treating her homeopathically and she has shown much progress in her mobility.
She makes me laugh when she runs across the yard to bring me a stick or when she grabs my arm in her mouth because she wants to be petted more. She is just another of my best buddies and she is a wonderful addition to our family. I cannot imagine not having her in our home. She just exudes all of the sweet attributes that Goldens bring to us and we are blessed by her happy greeting every day.
