We have changed Chewey's (#1411) name to Louie and he has adapted to our life. He is my constant shadow so now I have two shadows that walk with me every day. We all love him and he is adapting to our lifestyle well.
We were at the beach for three days and he swam and wrestled with my golden like he has always been there. Louie received rave reviews at the vet and everyone thought he was extremely handsome. When I walk my two goldens I am constantly stopped so they can be admired... those poor dogs. My entire family was glad that we adopted him, my niece and nephews had fallen hard for him and wanted him to stay in the family. They are anxious for a visit. And they will be living on a lake soon! A golden's delight.
I am continuing to foster through the summer and Louie has been the perfect gentleman with my newest foster. He is just a great boy and we love him!
