Success Story: Hammond (#1409)

Hi! This is Hammond (#1409.)

I’ve finally found my forever home. My new Mom and Dad are really great, and very trainable. I also have a new little brother who’s pretty great too, even if he is only a Miniature Schnauzer. He has the neatest toys, and he doesn’t get mad when I accidentally chew them up.

I have a big backyard to play in and lots of squirrels to chase. My brother helps me a lot. One of these days we’re gonna catch one. My brother says Mom will get upset if we do, but I know all I have to do is bat my big brown eyes at Mom, and all will be forgiven.

One of my favorite times of day is bedtime. We all get into the big bed and cuddle for awhile. When it’s time to go to sleep, Mom says it’s “night night” and I get into my own bed right on the floor beside Mom.

Mom took me for a ride in a little car with no top. I really liked that even if we did end up at the Vet’s for my first check up. Now every time I get in the garage I sit by the car and hope someone will take me for another ride.
