Teddy

Hello GoldenBond! Teddy (#1403)is doing wonderfully. It took him about 5 minutes to acclimate/accept us. He's just really easy/sweet. Great dog. Seems fine on his own during the day. He and one of the cats are now comfortable around each other. The other cat is coming around — and their relationship is getting better every day. Teddy's not at all mean to the cats — just really interested.

We took him up to our cabin on the White Salmon River a couple weekends ago and he was in dog heaven — lots of hikes and swims. He loves the water and was absolutely exhausted that Saturday night and slept on the way home Sunday. Last weekend we took a day trip to the beach with Teddy and a friend — who also has a golden. The two dogs travelled in the back seat of the car and basically slept on one another. I wish we had our camera. Teddy also runs with me in the mornings / walks with my wife at Mt Tabor Park. He's mostly fine without a leash, though is so friendly I have to be careful he doesn't walk up to someone or some dog who doesn't want the attention.

In summary, he's just a great dog and we feel very lucky to have found him.
