Hunter (formerly known as Willie #1369) has been a perfect match for us and has adjusted incredibly well to his new environment. He was very quiet and shy his first few days, but has really blossomed since then.
We're not sure if he loves us yet (of course, we loved him on sight), but we're confident that he feels safe here. His initial reaction to horses and hot air balloons was excited barking, but he's already calm about both and he's learning not to stress about the neighbor's loud fireworks. He's a sweet, gentle, loving creature and we couldn't have asked for a better companion.
Thanks to everyone at Golden Bond for getting us paired up with Hunter.

My new Mom says she has never seen such a good dog and I heard her say that "I am the dog of her dreams" and she also said something about "how I was sent straight from Heaven as an answer to her prayers" (and I thought I came from Oregon!).
My new dad loves me too. Apparently they had some insane, destructive dogs before me, (the kind that give dogs a bad name) so they are really happy that I am so good. My 4 young children call me the "Secret Service" because I follow them and Mom everywhere, just the way the real Secret Service is never away from the President.
My new life is so exciting. I get to go to real school every day right here in our home! (As if I needed to be smarter J). I get to listen in while Gabriella, Madison, Spencer and Lydianna do their homeschooling lessons. Mom likes to teach them as much as she likes to teach me new things. But my favorite time is recess, which obviously means "throw the ball to Gunner". I have half an acre to run around to fetch tennis balls, and I even learned in my first week here to drop the ball so they can throw it again! It definitely makes the game more fun! I am so grateful they are home all day with me so we can all enjoy each other's company. And since I am almost 90 lbs, I am big enough that the whole family can pet me at once!
Did I mention I am an alarm clock? I do a wake-up call to the children. I give them nice big, sloppy kisses so they can start their day right!
I have not learned to stop staring at their 2 cats after I got my nose scratched. They are so cute, I can't help staring. Sometimes I can actually just walk by them without looking. I can't understand why they don't want to play with me!
Well as you can tell, you have just read another Golden Bond success story starring me, Gunner. Just look at this great picture of me and my wonderful family!
