Mr. Ted E. Bear (#1171) was a wonderful dog to foster. Everyday he would worm himself deeper into our hearts. Ted got on beautifully with our own Golden Rufus (a Golden Bond alumni), and Rosie our miniature dachshund, and our three cats. Ted loved to be petted, and fed, he was less thrilled to go on a daily walk until it was discovered that he had no thyroid production! After being put on thyroid medicine, he began to be more spirited, and energetic. I was thrilled to learn he was adopted to a very loving caring home, and would have a "brother" Golden named Charlie for company. Ted deserved the very best, and I know he is getting it with Bret. Bret even arrived with tags for Ted! Now that's a great Dad. Ted has gone to live in Springfield, OR and is very happy.
Ted E. Bear's "Available" Story
Meet Mr. Ted E. Bear (#1171). Ted is a young and healthy 8 year old. He is a little overweight, but has lost a few while in foster care. A dog-styled Jennie Craig diet and a daily two mile walk has helped with his weight reduction program.
Ted is well-trained and gets along with all people, including small children. He also is okay with other dogs and cats.
Ted is a mellow, very sweet, loving boy who is looking for a forever home that can give him some daytime TLC.
