Success Story: Koa (#1059)

Adopted October 26, 2004

KoaI'm Koa (#1059) and I'm a double success story. The most important and best is that I have a new mom and sister. Jeannette, Brittany, and I are now a family. A family is a very good thing to have, and I have the best. My sister, Brittany, is the queen of the household. I am the king and, together, we take care of mom. (Don't tell her — she thinks it's the other way around.) Nobody could ask for more.

My second success is that I have lost 36 pounds. When I came to Golden Bond I was tipping the scales at 130. Thanks to the help of some very caring people and cans and cans of green beans, I can now run, jump, play and do all the normal doggy stuff. It has given me a new lease on life. I have never been happier in my entire life.

All the wonderful people that have helped me along this journey will stay in my heart forever.

Koa, the 96 pound golden bear.
