Success Story: Ladybug (#1038)

Hi, remember me? I am Ladybug (#1038), the Golden that's as cute as a bug in a rug!

Well I just got adopted over the week-end and I am also as happy and comfy as a bug in a rug. My new mom and dad, Terri and Tracy, are just the best. I get to live with them and no other dogs, so I get all the attention! However, when I want a dog friend, we just go visit my grandma's dog, who is also a Golden and almost the same age as I am. How great is that!

For exercise I will be not only taking walks but going on hikes. Doesn't that sound like fun! You should meet these wonderful people who I now live with, they are just the best and I am just about the happiest Golden Bond dog ever.

Just wanted to update you on Ladybug. We have had her for one week (Sunday) and are absolutely in love with her. She is so polite and well behaved, we can't believe she is a Golden Retriever.

Although we don't leave her unattended, she will just make sure she can see me at all times regardless of what I am doing. She has not strayed from my side at all, and instantly comes when asked to do so. Please let Patsy and Ellen know that we appreciate their support in arranging for our adoption. And thank you as well for everything you have done. She is definitely a keeper, and we hope we can make the rest of her life a happy one.
